During automatic turning operations, chips and microparticles with dimensions <100 micron fall, together with the cutting oil, into machine tool tanks.

While microparticles remain in the lathes’ tank, the chips are periodically evacuated from the lathes and move to chips centrifuge and/or briquetting machine, in order to be separated from the oil.

The dirty oil recovered from the chips centrifuge, the briquetting machine and the lathes’ tanks (periodic emptying) can be clean and bring back to ideal conditions by Comat Superfiltration Technology.
